The High Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) is a simple connection and high quality digital interface between Audio and Video sources and HDTVs. An application of optical technology to this transmission gives stretch high definition digital quality beyond extension limit of copper HDMI cables with longer length, data security, negligible RFI/EMI and the elimination of costly analog distribution systems.
The M1-2000 offers full compatible performance of DDC/HDCP interconnection and power management over coaxial copper wires, specially designed for long-extension with an active line driving circuit, based on the Compatibility Test Specifications supervised by the HDMI organization. Also, it extends not only 1080p with 36-bit color depth for HDTV that is the best performance among the products released for HDMI 1.3, but also DVI digital graphic data up to WUXGA (1,920x1,200) at 60Hz for PC monitors over four multimode fibers. That M1-2000 is fully compatible with both HDMI 1.3 and DVI 1.0. The cable can be any length up to 100m (328feet).
